The short version
Some evidique pages may link to software vendors through an affiliate program. If you follow a clearly labeled affiliate link and complete a qualifying purchase, evidique may receive a commission from the vendor.
You should not pay more because of that referral. The commission comes from the vendor's marketing budget, not an added line on your bill.
When a link is an affiliate link
A product link is not automatically an affiliate link. We treat it as commercial only when the affiliate relationship is enabled and the link is labeled on the page. Ordinary editorial links may point to the same vendor without generating compensation.
What a commission changes
Affiliate revenue may help pay for subscriptions, hosting, and the time required to retest software. It can also tell us that readers found a product page useful enough to visit.
That is the full extent of its editorial role. Revenue is tracked separately from scoring and does not become evidence that a product works well.
What a commission cannot change
An affiliate relationship cannot:
- qualify a product for review or guarantee coverage;
- raise a score, create a winner, or remove a documented limitation;
- give a vendor advance approval over a headline, verdict, or comparison;
- prevent us from recommending a non-affiliate alternative.
Labels and link attributes
Pages that may contain affiliate links include a plain-language disclosure near the relevant recommendation or call to action. Enabled commercial links use the appropriaterel="sponsored nofollow noopener noreferrer" attributes and open in a new tab.
Affiliate destinations are managed centrally so an editor can disable a relationship without searching through old articles.
Tracking and third-party sites
A vendor or affiliate network may use a referral parameter, cookie, or similar technology after you leave evidique. That processing happens under the third party's privacy policy and cookie controls. evidique does not receive your payment-card details from those purchases.
Review the vendor's price, renewal terms, refund policy, and privacy information before buying. Product plans change faster than disclosure pages enjoy admitting.
Sponsorships and free access
A sponsorship is not the same as an affiliate link. Any paid placement will be labeled as sponsored and kept outside editorial rankings. Free or temporary product access will be disclosed when it could affect the scope of a test.
Neither arrangement guarantees coverage, timing, or a favorable conclusion. The full separation rules appear in our editorial policy.
